Museum Frieder Burda
The architecture of the museum is characterised through its expression of classic modernism. Large sized windows allow the natural light to permeate through the exhibition rooms. Inside the building, the cool, bright white of the structural elements, walls and ceiling contrast with the warm, earthy tones of the parquet flooring. This runs through the entire building over a ramp that joins all four levels of the museum, in a spiral, and gives each floor different outlooks.
