Inspired by Nature
A play on natural diagonals and a metamorphosis of forest to parquet: the concept of Spinpark is down-to-earth and simple. On the other hand, the close interconnection of nature and the craft of laying parquet, paired with a new cutting technique, brings out a completely new space for creativity in flooring.
Observing nature, thinking with one’s hands, and experimenting with materials is an integral component of atelier oï‘s DNA. Their vision: Good Design. Located on the idyllic bank of Lake Biel in La Neuveville, the Swiss architecture and design studio is surrounded by nature, which is a perfect source of inspiration for projects like Spinpark.
Spinpark has been honoured with the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024. With its internationally recognized label, the award has established itself as one of the most desirable seals of quality for excellent design. Turning the grain of the wood 45° relative to the plank, Spinpark offers entirely new possibilities for creating floor optics.
