The modern style single family house is in the small town of Gams in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. Surrounded by meadows and woodland, the residents enjoy a heavenly view looking out to the mountain panorama at the foothill of the Alps.
The light grey exposed concrete walls create a cool simplicity that is further accentuated by the white furniture. To contrast with this, the owners opted for wooden flooring.
«Studiopark» in the «Oak» colour, emits a cosy warm feeling. The natural oiled parquet plays with the light and further amplifies the hygge factor in the house. Contrary to its classic use, it has been installed crosswise, thereby creating a visual aesthetic transition to the stairs, where the steps are also covered in «Studiopark.
