A new golf clubhouse has been built in Meggen using the gently sloping topography of this location, providing the centrepiece for the new golf course while at the same time offering various functions to the public. This is not a place intended exclusively for golfers, and passers-by can come to the restaurant to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
A significant feature of this new building is the angled upper floor with a metal-clad wooden framework: this is where the hotel rooms are located. Inside, architects from GKS created an inviting ambience for guests to slow down and relax. GKS created an inviting ambience that invites guests to slow down and relax. Warmth and natural colours are predominant in the restaurant and hotel rooms. The open bath is a highlight in the hotel rooms, separated from the living area by nothing more than a glass wall. This creates a particularly spacious atmosphere.
In the restaurant, smoked oak was laid to match the dark furniture. The classic Unopark parquet in the colour Avorio surrounds the grey tiles of the modern and open bathroom. In the bedroom, warm wood, natural colours in beige tones and indirect lighting harmonise. 600 square metres of the classic short strip format were laid in the rooms. Long parquet formats in the hotel rooms make the rooms appear even larger.
